  • Crack cocaine did everything it was set out to do, and it was for what those in power expected it to do. There have always been a powerful governmental force behind every endeavor in any Black community in America, when it came to coming together forming or organizing on a national level. Whether it was negatively or positively but mainly negatively Period.... Why? because according to Cia and others we were just another experiment for their political and beneficial gain. And also the victim of world wide character assassination always in any assembly were exploited for the gains of others in this country. Meaning there's always a underlying goal whenever were brought into public view. In reality there's no black organization that can be formed without government approval period. That goes for gangs as well that's how MK Ultra was first initiated and tested on our peoples daily. It was mandatory that these things happen in poor communities soley for the purpose of profit and to remove freedoms as well while pushing for slavery through incarnation and how conveniently state laws were imposed to fit the bill. I know there are those who may feel otherwise but in my research and study this is just the information that I was lead back to through intuitive thought and good common sense. We are the food source for smarter and more powerful criminals. Remember this the best criminals make the law's and control what you see and how you view your reality. ✌

  • Money isn't everything.... This man nailed it on the head when he said "God never left you", I know I left him when I was using. I only thanked God when the cops didn't find my stash. I am 19 months sober today after fighting an addiction that was so strong and evil for 15+ years. That way of life for me is not what I want to be remembered for. I'm given this opportunity to be somebody and help another addict who needs a chance who deserves to feel hope and find peace in their minds and become a productive person. It's available to us all but you have to put in the work, freedom isn't just given to you because you want it, you have to fight to keep it. ODAAT y'all that's all we got. Be kind to one another, be generous with you words of praise and uplifting, we all have struggles but we don't have to do it alone. Find your freedom live sober and embrace change. #LiveNLetLive 💜✌🏽😁💯

If they cared as much as they say they do, then BURN THE MONEY- it doesnt matter right??? Thats what i thought

  • Great film. One small thing from the beginning, Jabari is wrong about the bars on the windows in the projects. He says there are bars on the windows in the projects but not in good Manhattan neighborhoods. Bars are required by law in New York if a child lives in the apartment. Many children, rich and poor, in NYC died falling out of high rises (including Eric Clapton’s son), those bars were demanded by community activists after so many kids died.

    Upstanding CitizenUpstanding CitizenԱմիս առաջ
    • @Upstanding Citizen I've never seen bars on a non project in Manhattan. Point is, the state/government always has a way of doing something and saying its for the good of the people but that's another conversation. But think about it, looking out your window and seeing bars over time has a way of having a different affect on people. Its just like us seeing cops murder black people online so much we're now becoming desensitized when seeing it. It's the same thing with bars on windows in the projects. If you've never lived in the projects you wouldn't understand why people like Jabari and myself who have that outlook on the bars.

      LaconicTVLaconicTVԱմիս առաջ
    • @LaconicTV I grew up in a non-project apartment in Manhattan and I had window guards growing up, so I dont know what you mean. Sorry I just don’t think child safety bars are put on project windows “to prepare kids for prison.” Those bars saved a lot of inner-city kids lives: “A 1971 study found that 201 child fall deaths occurred from 1965-1969 during May through September, and 123 of the deaths, 61 percent, were falls from windows. A large number of those incidents occurred in low-income neighborhoods with poor housing quality in the Bronx and Manhattan.” www.reuters.com/article/us-health-children-window-guards/new-york-citys-window-guard-policy-tied-to-fewer-falls-and-deaths-idUSKBN1HX2VC

  • I wish this generation would watch an learn that the streets don't love you just what they can benefit from you and then after that it's kind of like the mob do when they feel no use of you no more you go sleeping with the fishes I'm 37 and I could have did this same type of living but I seen homies go to jail die get shot or heard about them getting shot so I took a different route and a different approach but this is history for the books. And I'm only seven minutes into this film this is good food for thought
