The Boss slip float is no longer being marketed however I did find the company of the owner who invented them and lucky for me I was able to purchase twp this afternoon. Thank you for your enjoyable videos.

  • I have grown to be leary and avoid using split shot( unless on a tag end). I started noticing that when a line broke, it was SO often, at the split shot. If not crimped enough, it slides, if too much crimp, you have actually bruised or even smashed the line. Damaged line is not worth a darn, fellas.

  • I've watched a lot of videos on to rig a slip bobber and yours was, by far, the most easily understood method. I'm now confident that I can rig my lines myself for my first solo fishing trip tomorrow. By the way, I really enjoyed watching you fish. I grew up as a tomboy fishing with my daddy every chance I got. He can't fish anymore so I'm gonna have to fish off the bank. And thanks to you I know my rigs will hold up well. Thanks so much!!!

But I was compelled to Shazam your music, learned it’s Michael Flory, went to the iTunes store, listened to samples of each track, and have just downloaded 5 of them. May go back for a couple more I’m currently on the fence about but might grow on me. Yet something else for me to thank you for, so, thanks bro!

  • So you adjust the slip knot above the bobber to adjust the depth? Then why not just use a bobber that attaches to the line that can be adjusted for the depth you want to fish? I don't understand the need for the bobber to be able to slip down to the weight. Thanks Richard for the great vid !

  • Catch all the crappie you want. doesn't matter how you prepare them, their mushy-meat texture, is not like a Largemouth Bass prepared with medium heated pan, some butter, onions, salt, pepper, lemon and top it off with some Old Bay seasoning , in a pan with a glass lid so you can tell when their cooked they turn grayish. yeah buddy ! P.S. cook up some biscuits too…..
