Thanks for watching, from all of us at Matt's off-road recovery!
8:45 pissing in the river lol
Ofc the ranger didn’t start the exhaust had water in it and you pulled the back end up higher then the front meaning all the water went straight into the cylinders no battery issue more like hydro locked should have started it before moving it so no water could have gotten in at all
O.K. I'll get the jeep and come on down and rescue everybody, enough said. The World of Matt.
Love the addition of your family to your videos. Adds more depth than just recovery after recovery. Cheers!
RIP Ford ranger... why would you start it up right away?
this is the most talkative you've been in all the videos I've watched. also I don't know you personally, so you may talk much more than I've seen in these videos.
Hey Eric Hello
Matt was driving wreck less. Looks like he did not want to be there. Lmao.
“You see him come around that corner on two wheels?” I died laughing!
Probably just the starter got wet s te reason it wouldn't crank up
expensive off roading
Jeep’s are not made like they used to be made
Clamp down on the fucking brake line. Take the caliper off and keep rolling.
Matt: "I think I'll take the day off. My guys can handle everything just fine". 2 Hours later: "Matt! Come rescue us!" LOL
New tires on the front of the Jeep badly needed.... like slicks
Sir, I think your tire fell off...
The wrecking crew did more damage to the truck than the river. HopeI never need these clowns
Good God dude, that yellow Cherokee needs 4 NEW TIRES. Those things are bald, dadadadadadamn! Love these videos guys! I gave this video a gigantic thumbs up. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Ik the jeeps do the job, but man that powerstroke pulled that ranger with so much more ease😂
4 door wranglers are for girls. No turn radius grocery getting machines.
seems like a really fun job, really happy to see good people doing good even with all the BS going on in the country
Cranking on that ford after it possibly sucked water into the air intake was painful to watch. Fastest way to ruin an engine
Wow, They should at least have a Winch. And Jumper cables. Lucky they have Rescue Crews out there.
In a word: unprofessional.
Was that a Ford Ranger “Splash” in the river? 😂
All Karma for saying MILLENNIAL Falcon! 🤪
I don’t like how confident you guys are standing without anything to protect you from a winch breaking.
Matt you should look into a forklift power plug for you winch set up
I bet bearing don’t last long around there
"Just figure it out." Best advice EVER! You guys rock!
11:20, you can see Matt is really and truly irritated by the whole thing.
Poor cameraman breathing a little heavy
Reverse? That truck is toast!
5:48 you can hear that rotor snap
Your wench cable busted that rotor
Air pressure ! air pressure ! air pressure !
fords always get pulled home
Why are you running racing slicks on that recovery vehicle???
This guy is pretty good at what he does but i still think he is so unprepared for those kind of scenarios he gets into. Come on bro is being a man 101 always bring a spare with you...
Lol you can tell Matt was Pissedddd
Awesome videos you’re one the humblest persons how do you keep so calm and cool when you’re working out there in the heat
518 subscribers outstanding crew and Matt and Lizzy as well
Using the axle as a winch point.. smartest thing ever!
a factory bronze XJ ?? not seen one of those in the UK
The Jeep's rear bumper is rendered totally USELESS when the spare tire is mounted on the tailgate. Any rear impact would be on the spare and would destroy the tailgate. Jeep stupidly continues to do this with their vehicles ... because the rear-mounted spare "looks cool".
How does an off-road recovery team not have a spare tire for their vehicle?
How many times are we going to watch your tire fall off the rim?
How do these guys not have a TV show yet?!?!
Great one, laughed so much. Cool dude, Matt. Lol very cool way to handle it.
So many times watching these videos I'm thinking Why? Why? What were you thinking to get yourself in this mess?
I got my old ranger stuck in the Virgin down by Overton and then a couple years later my brother in law got a jeep stuck in the same place 😂 That suck sand is the worst.
Seems like the main guy managing the tow was more interested in talking to the camera than focusing on the job.
I'm shocked that you attach a rope to the tow ball. That is really, really dangerous. The ball becomes a lethal projectile if the bolt shears... And they do. You're teaching your viewers a very dangerous, and incorrect tactic.
It’s really just the difference between real world problem-solving and Internet excitability. I wish that I had a tow ball to hook onto a 99% of the cars that I have to recover. Instead I am hooking onto flimsy sheet metal or brittle suspension parts. Sometimes the tow ball is the answer. Sometimes it isn’t.
Whoa. Must have been amateur hour that day.
Your sound quality is excellent! What microphones are you guys using!?
Bead locks my friend!
Nearly ripped that jeeps rear wheel off in the first few minutes of of the video.
What's a millennial falcon? 😂
Is the jeep manuel
Having had an XJ that got flooded, I almost yelled NO when they tried to start it without checking anything... the old ranger motors are pretty bulletproof, but like the inline 6 in the XJ, or any motor for that matter, you flood it, then try to start it, and you’re gonna have a bad time. On another note: it’s funny how much throatier the inline 6 sounds than the Rubicon engine😂
Once that electronic foot pedal got wet it wasn't going to start until it dried out completely.
"we've got a winch jamie it's not a big deal" XD
Those Cherokee’s with the in-line 6 are great trucks. Too bad they don’t make reliable Jeeps like that anymore
Now u have to catch a bus getting work coz thats ur daily driver 😂😂
Just out of curiosity, why are you always "locking in" the hubs? As much as you need 4x4 I would think you'd leave them locked so why don't you?
I was wondering on your trailer (just asking) how come you don't use a pintle hitch
What does a job like this cost?
4x4’s allow you to get out further before getting stuck
@William Skinner well, ya get what you pay for.
And cost more👆🏻
wear effin masks you morons
''be carefull,he just rolled,,'' . ''is he on his wheels''. .''yes. ''o.k.''..
ford sounds hydro locked
There any fish in that river?
So trying to fire up a truck that was just under water? Yeah great way to wreck the engine. And pulling another truck via a ball hitch? Glad it wasnt me, I have no need for a 2 inch hole in my body :/
I used to have a ranger like that one. Except mine wasn't the submarine edition....
Get better tires
Always the Jeep’s saving the fords
One of y'all helped me out on Imogene Pass when my 7.3 van wouldn't start. You guys are legends!
So many bad unsafe calls on this .. shame...
That turn on 2 wheels was fine driving I have to admit
8:46 is he peeing?
the more I watch these videos, the more I can't wrap my head around the amount of ppl who go offroading with zero driving skills, but have the budget to drive around in $80k Jeeps.
Awe, meaning "aw"????
At the beginning you say you are dropping this video. So why are we seeing it?
That tire looks a little low
You guys rock!!
Learn to fence the wheels with fire! you yourself need help)))
why did you not get the 4 runner to help pull the ford up the hill
Ah yes. The rubicon who dosnt have his lockers on 🙃
Hey Matt why arent you always taking a spare tire with you?
Shouldn't have turn on the ranger you'll just flood it even more
The slow handicap sequently remember because insect decisively talk mid a paltry police. adorable, solid doll
how do these goat trails have road names?
Start Wars has hyperspace -- you have Hyper SAND.. :) makes me need dramamine.. ha. Don't you wish you could really DO that.. :)
The whole recovery level amateur
Guys! Please put weight, a blanket or even a jacket on that winch cable when you're pulling. If the cable ever breaks the cable will just fall to the ground. Without the weight on the rope there is enough energy stored in it during a pull that if it breaks it could cut a guy in half. Safety 1st. This one is so easy.
I grew up on a farm & ranch & we used to pull out 18wheelers loaded with 42 round bales on 56’ 3 axle drop deck trailers & 55’ X 102” cattle trailers stuck in sand & sometimes we could pull items out with a JD4440MFWD however later on we would use JD 8960 articulation w/triples or D9 if we could get it in , but in the 60’s & 70’s we used the Farmal M or a JD 4020 but we always took great care when pulling & we never pulled people out commercially only other farmers or ranchers. But our family farms had been farming & ranching since 1881 & we never were allowed to pull anyone out that wasn’t farming or ranching & stuck due to legitimate reasons, and during harvesting time we were always 24/7 so we took great care to always be hooked on, in case a cotton module or other apparatus ignited, many times we pulled other tractors, farm 18wheelers, etc with dozers of available, MFWA tractors or 4x4 farm tractors and we had to work under stressful & extremely dangerous conditions. But this I learned from growing up in the 60-70’s, and it got to where at times it was only myself in a farm 18wheeler & my young sister in a JD 4x4 w/an implement, but we however all the children grew up on the farm & we could adapt improvise innovative to whatever dilemma we were caught up in & we weren’t even 15 yet but we’d pull out our own vehicles & since I can remember we always had Motorola farm radios even in mother’s Jeep Wagon. But I never to this day ever did 4-wheelin since we depended on all our farm pickup, and also they were always 1ton dual wheel w/flat farm beds & toolboxes & our Willeys Jeeps were handed down since the 40’s & had PTO military winches & all our farm trucks had Detroit Lockers & a PTO winch in the bed & a 24K hydraulic winch on the front brush guard , but I always wanted to purchase at least one electric winch like what you fellas use, but since I always was around huge farm 4x4 farm trucks & tractors, I always wanted a Z28 or TransAm, I never thought about taking a truck on a date, I would use mother’s Jeep Wagon or Plymouth GrandFury we purchased from government auctions, but I always worked at buying a sports car, so in 1979 when I got my agriculture drivers license at 15, I purchased a beautiful 1976 black transam w/a 403 Pontiac 4 on the floor . I paid $3888, and it had about 60K miles , it had round head lamps, it was a few years older than the Smokey & the Bandit car on the big screen, but I put alumacoat Blackjack headers & a descent cam & great manifold & 750 double pumper, and I smoked fellas with new corvettes, but hardly raced it because I was making payments on the loan I got just to put the great radial tires & all the goodies for 3.5 K , but I bought the car with my savings, so I always took care of it & sold it for $7870 in 1984.
Fucking idiot hydrolocked guy's truck. These guys for this tow company are as dumb as it gets. MORON just doesnt quite say it
Rubicon lifted with a winch, stuck beside a stock Ranger......
Man I'm finding out about all the great channels this one is a part of.
For professional tow guys, I'm surprised to see how often you throw a strap over a hitch ball. Danger!! You trying to make a missle? Safely first, right? Not trying to be a troll or a hater either.. keep making great videos
